Strategy Intern (Summer 2022 - Undergraduate Internship Program)

We are looking for a Strategy Intern to work with our Growth Strategy Practice during summer 2022. We’re looking for someone who is able to demonstrate an ability to think strategically and creatively about business challenges, new products, and consumer pain points. You should be able to express new ideas powerfully and accurately, self-propelled by relentless curiosity, resourceful in scouring the world for insight, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

The Position: Strategy Intern What will you be doing?

Our undergraduate summer internship program is a 10-week program, running from mid-June to early August. As a Summer Strategy Intern, you would be responsible for working closely with consumer and commercial analysts and strategists in a cross-functional setting. Your tasks would include, but would not be limited to:

●  Performing in-depth industry research, extracting key takeaways and organizing them into actionable and digestible documents

●  Supporting category assessment, competitive analysis and financial modeling for potential initiatives

●  Contributing to the development of innovation strategies and idea portfolios

●  Stimulating and inspiring cross-functional teams – both internally and externally

●  Assisting in building key deliverables to be presented to senior executives in our client organizations

We want you to have:

You should be a rising senior on track to receiving a bachelor’s degree, demonstrating strong academic success and leadership, with significant internship or similar work experience.

You should excel in working in collaborative, group-based environments.

You should be a lateral thinker, adept at uncovering the themes and critical pieces of information that can spark game-changing innovations.

You should be self-propelled by restless curiosity, resourceful in scouring the world for insight, comfortable in a highly charged idea-centric environment, fascinated with changing the world, able to move seamlessly from high altitude thinking to the tangible and practical.

You should be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:

●  Creative Problem Solving. You should have an intuitive ability for identifying gaps in markets and developing new markets in those gaps.

●  Inspiring Leadership Style. You have proven the ability to inspire internal teams and clients to push the boundaries of what they thought was possible.

●  Contagious Positive Passion. You should get excited by big transformational ideas and be able to infectiously stoke the fires of those around you.

●  Strong Opinions. You should be prepared to defend your opinions and perspectives and be able to support them with lateral and insightful commercial and strategic rationale.
