Remember the days when it was all about the virtual trying hard to mimic the real?
Oh the tides they are a-changing (with apologies to Mr.Dylan).
Fabjectory is offering frequenters of Second Life the opportunity to turn their avatar of choice into a statuette.
No, not yet one of those cool Availabots that London duo Schulze & Webb is getting ready for mass-customized production, just a good ol’ fashioned static statuette.
Get your polygons in order.
Literally.

Thanks for the mention of our service Fabio. While our main course of work these days is the creation of real life figures from SecondLife avatars, the fact that we can create objects from most anything someone can create in SecondLife or Sketchup might be of more interest to your readers.
Rapid fabrication tools and processes have only been available to engineering and high end firms previously: we’re trying to get the costs down to where everyone can afford to get things built.
Thanks again,
Michael Buckbee
