Single-Sided Deafness: A Graphical Tale
At age six, I was struck by a bad case of the flu, and my fever reached over 106 degrees. On my next visit to the pediatrician, they discovered I was 100% deaf in my right ear. This is a graphical tale of the ways that single-sided deafness affects the lives of people like me, people who hear with only one side.
